  • What to do with a free baby blade?

My mate kindly donated his 89 cibby 250R to me. Unregistered, not running (will see what happens when a new battery goes in) scratched but in tact fairings, broken chain and speedo/odo is no go.

What im after is ideas on what to do with this B.O.S

Sell it and profit from my mates good will?
Slap a massive rear sproket and some MX bars on and attempt to stunt with it
Wrangle some form of other engine in?

Suggestions please? wild and exotic ones welcome

    shawn

seeing it set up as a stunter would be pretty funny

Fix it up and sell it, give your mate a fair price for it afterwards.

You sir are a true business man.

I like JK's idea. Trackbike ftw!

well if you like your mate and you don't really want the bike, you could fix it up, sell it , and goes halfs in the money.

                to be fair......

I'd deduct cost of parts to repair the bike from the Selling Price, then invite mate around to share a beer or three, 'cos you sold the beast....then give him 50% of balance of sale and watch the expression on his face.

Good mates are mates for life. Don't profit from others generosity.

Sensible suggestion: Project bike, go to town on it. Make it run like new. Then flog it off.

Exotic solution: A lot like the above, but strap on a turbo hahaha

                      Fix it up.

                      Build a ramp.

Charge people to watch you launch it into the side of a school bus.

                      Recover.

                      Share beer with mate.

You could always back flip it into the Swan? That's what Travis would do.

Gday Maverick, long time no see. Why not set it up for trak days in Collie mate.

I bought most the parts for Pamela's RM 80 from Fleabay cost me about $200 to get it fully operational.

BTW.. There's a ride on tomorrow, it was posted up on other forums but not sure if it was here. Lunch at Quinny I believe. I can't ride as Pamela is really close to giving birth. If she is feeling okay might make the trek in the car.

The ride is posted on Perth riders

After my last attempt at something vaguely close to that landed me in hospital with a broken spine, and the forfeit of my 2 bikes, i may have to rule this one out straight away
