I am wondering what sort of exhaust to buy for my R1 cause the one it has is just not sounding to healthy. Was thinking Yoshimura maybe....
I want the power as well as the nice note.
    any suggestions?

We need more info. Is it damaged, leaking, just needs repacking etc?

What sort of noise is it making?

I dunno what model R1 you have but i saw a few on the weekend with "akrapovic" slipons... They look and sound real good. Im sure there are guys with those systems on the forum that can give you a good review.

o.k...its a 2001 model that has been sitting pretty in the shed and has not been ridden much. Standard exhaust so very quiet and looks pretty ugly, otherwise in fine condition.

I'd go akro or devil...look and sound nice.

I've got an M4 on my 02, has a nice note but is a bit quiet...i want more noise.

Any chance you want to Pay the stock exhaust forward?

                        Or sell it to me?

Not wishing to be nasty to redfern - but keep the stocker in the shed, Aisiah, for the inevitable "hur hur too loud here have yellow sticker" so you have an easy option for getting it over the pits.

Akrapovic. (Pronounced A-krop-o-vik for those interested).
