  • Any Radiator Coolant?

Just checked my bike and its clean gone of any coolant. Just curious about what types of coolant I'm able to use, and if any coolant at the petrol station is fine?

Also if glycerol is really needed... we hardly go under freezing here so glycerol wouldn't be necessary would it?

    Cheers for the help

Don't put glycerol in it! My KTM just used good quality Shell coolant. Make sure you don't overfill it.

I heard glycerol is just a anti freeze, since we don't really go below freezing in perth it would be quite useless... So Shell coolant is fine?

Yep, the Glycol stops corrosion as well as raising the boiling point. Our tap water is scheisser.

Glycerol is good for putting on babies' dummies

Anyone got any ideas on why my overflow bottle keeps filling up every few days, causing my radiator to only be half full and getting quite hot while stopped? Possibly an air leak in the rad cap? I haven't lost any coolant.

Or ur radiator cap is forked....

Spring broken not holding any pressure, vent to overflow tank.
