  • Kawasaki Versys

    Hi Guys;

    I'm back into riding after a break and have just picked up a K10 Kawasaki Versys.

    Great bike so far but looking to let it "breath a bit" which the stock can won't do...

    Any ideas on a pipe that isnt ear bleedingly loud??

    cheers

    Leo Vince or Arrow. The Jardine is fairly loud, and the two brother is just ridiculous (and crappy quality).

    If you don't want loud, go for something with the "E" approval, they are the ones that are legal on road in Europe. And given how popular the bikes are in Germany and France, there are plenty of options.

      Thanks Barfridge.

      Any ideas of resellers in Perth - or Australia in general on these?

      I'm loving the 650 twin.....

        ebay and online retailers really are your friend, I doubt you'll find any Aussie sellers who can compete, especially with the current exchange rate.

          What about a Staintune with the removable baffle?

            Or ask Alex @ Roo Racing if he can knock something up.... Or Paul @ Howler
            Men have motorcycles while women have menstrual cycles, you can't talk to either while they are on it. The women's also has a sound, it goes nag-na-nag-nag-nag, biiiiiitch-bitch-biiiiiiiitch!

                ahh yeah love the look of those ixil twins redbeard. what did they set you back if you dont mind my asking?

                I've got an arrow on my 07 er6n, sounds like a dream with the DB Killer out. fairly loud, so I wear ear plugs on longer rides.

                not 100% sure if its the same as the earlier models, but selected parts for the ER6 (ninja 650r in the US of A) fit the versys, the 06 thru 08 (mainly engine parts etc.)
