Rust in Fuel Tank, New tank ? Resin repairs ?

    Also I had a blocked breather hose for the tank and fuel expanded through the key hole and has corroded/etched it any ways to remove?

      ^this is $14 a bit cheaper. you wont need much to cover a square inch or two, you should be able to just brush it on lightly.

              Lucky i got mr potato to fix as there was considerable amount of rust underneath the cap assemble once removed.

              Pretty sad considering the bike sits mostly in the shed

                Strap your tank to a cement mixer. Put in sand and gravel. Run it for a while until the rust is gone and then blow it out and finally rinse it with a solvent.
                Then slosh a two pack sealer around the inside.
