  • 250 Friendly Saturday 7th May, 9:00am for a 9:30am departure - Brunch Ride

This is my first attempt at leading a group ride guys and gals, so don't be too hard on me if you don't enjoy.

This will be approx 150km with a stop at Toodyay for Brunch.

The roads are still new for me so I will be taking it easy.

Learner and 250 okay but need to be fairly confident for these roads (organise your own shadow if you need one). Anyone who wants to go quicker can pass the group and ride ahead if they wish.

Meeting at Caltex Stratton per the map below. 9:00am meet time for a 9:30 departure.

Estimate the ride will finish around 2pm.

Would have liked to attend your first ride Mark but unfortunately I binned my bike at the weekend so will be off the road for a while, maybe I will catch the next one.

I'd be up for it if anyone could give us an RE shadow? I live in Midland (great Northern/Charles Street)... So only a few kilometres from the meet point?
Will confirm my shifts at work tomorrow, but 99% sure I can make it

So, anyone passing by me to get to the meet point who's happy to swing by my place on the way back ?

What's the general rule? Lunch ? Yes yes? =D

Great stuff Mark, I am heading the other direction via York to Beverley for the Tractor Pull, other wise I would have joined you.

That includes stopping for brekkie, watchin' the world go by and talkin shit at Toodyay. Also the ride will end a ways out of Perth. So I guestimated 2pm for myself to get home.
