PS: I think we should look at getting a very small leather PSB First Aid Symbol made so it can be sewn onto the leathers of our jackets so in an accident, riders know who have attended the course. Wot u think? Any volunteers or ideas as to where we can get this done?

Instead of having a leather patch or the like, how about some type of card ie. business card size, then everyone can carry it in their wallets :?:

I done me senior first aid coursem through work, not that long ago. Though i would like to attend the course, as the senior first aid didn't really touch that much on motorcyclist, I will have to decline. I am busy with work at that stage, sorry :?

Just a suggestion....instead of a patch, why not have the First Aid Symbol on the reverse side of the PSB rubber keyring that PSB members will be getting soon? Just means that you'll have to get 2 different PSB keyrings made (one with and one without the First Aid emblem)

not meaning to sound to negative ........ but fuck this patch idea !!! hmmmm i think they may of come across to negative......try again......the patch idea is fucked .....hmmmm still a touch on the negative side , only reason i say this , besides a patch spoiling the look of a good jacket , is that it (the course) is a great idea , but unless you compliment it with your senior first aid cert then i wouldn't be relying on it (hence the reason st-john won't give it certification) !! thats just my opinion , and whose to say that just because they do the course that they are the best person for the job ! people react different under stressful conditions !

Absolutely... couldnt agree more. Ive seen many people freeze when they are needed most... even though they've "done the course".

A course doesnt mean you can do what you've been trained to do... it just means you've got the theory...

i've investigated the matter , and it seems that the first person to mention it was some guy by the name of DEEJ , not sure who this character is but his nick might be short for DEEJenerate, we'd better keep a close eye on this guy , could be a troublemaker!!
