  • What da Fuk

Always wear safety equipment when riding. Ride responsibly, ride to your limits, ride within your bikes limit and obey the law in your applicable area *coff*.

    Ride at your own risk.

PSB COMMUNITY MANIFESTO FOR ORGANISED RIDES:

    1) If you bust your shit up, its your problem.

    2) If you bust someone elses shit up, it is your problem.

    3) If someone else busts their shit up, its their problem.

    4) Do not ride unless you have a MINIMUM of 3rd party property insurance (no doofus, this is not the same as the ‘personal injury insurance’ you get with your rego).

    5) Do not ride if you are riding out of class as you are not insured even if you do have insurance.

    6) If you ride uninsured and/or out of class you are a retard and YOU become EVERYONE’S problem.

Yo this is some funny shit...

Let me just say something as someone who used to ride out of class...

Riding outa Class is less of a problem to a group of riders as aposed to the CLOWN who thinks he's the shit when it come's to wheelies and start doing monos in the middle of the bunch and gets everyone in trouble..

If these are in deed a set of rules that you want people to follow before joining on a PE ride as it sounds like Rules 4 5 and 6 then how about shit like Dont bother riding if you plan on doing Wheelies or Stoppies or Speeding or all the shit that bike riders get a bad rep from...

I have never seen a bad new story of a policeman or woman pulling over a bike rider because he or her is riding outa class it's alwasy about riders doing Wheelies in built up places (lets face it no point doing a miniga unless there is people to see).

I love riding my bike, i realy enjoy riding with PE and it's members when i get the chance to but if your going to post something like that even if it's a B/S one just to cover your own arse then you realy should put more into it...

Now i'll just sit back and wait for all the shit a post like this is going to stir up...

As is posted....- “Ride within your limits”. I know I personally would feel far safer doing a stand up wheelie side by side in the same lane with someone like RC or Stan or Grandmaster or Erion Dave or Magenta Tiger say than being one lane away from someone I have not ridden with before.

Besides, I'd rather be hit by a guy who is insured and doing a wheelie than hit by you with both wheels on the ground if your not insured or riding out of class ......or perhaps.... driving under suspention http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/forum/view...ighlight=#36981

Ohh thats right, we all bought bikes to go 60kph, be good to the environment and drive miss daisy....forgot.

lets face it no point doing a miniga unless there is people to see

We are not trying to cover anyones arse, we are trying to save yours. PSB is a community it is not an individual.

So on the eight day, after wasting time faffing about with unimportant guff like heaven & earth & the waters & sky & creatures [& having a wee kip] & man.... God created PSB (GenesiSX-R1000)

Well this is why I only ride with people I know cause there's to many "people" that ride unlicensed and uninsured and I don't want the shit that comes with someone who's uninsured and unlicesed when he collides with me and then does a runner and I'm left with a bill and an idiot that says "oh sorry mate but I just can't cover it"

It's called COMMON SENSE so bloody use it. If people don't like the fact that others don't want to ride with those who aren't licensed or insured then I don't see a bloody thing wrong with it.

I don't see what was unreasonable about Deej's post?

A couple of months ago I was in freo and saw 4 blokes on 1L machines pull out from parking spots that are down the side of the essex st food hall, and head onto essex st.

The last two blokes wobbled all over the shop and couldn't control the bike or hold a line at low speed. Blind freddy could see they didn't have a license.

If Deej's post makes someone like that re-think coming on a PSB ride until they've got their act together then he's done everybody a huge favor.

          rules

Just a shame that rules had to be spelled out in the first place. For most people, comman sense would be enough..

i used to ride around uninsured for a bit, then realised that if i fuck up and hit someone, then not only do i have my own bike to fix, but someone else's bike as well. that is where it get expensive, cause while you might not mind riding round on a slightly messy bike, they might.....

and riding out of class is stupid, it's only a fuckin' year........

A good friend of mine in Sydney ended up in a fucked up situation due to riding in a group, where one guy was not insured.

My friend had 3rd party property insurance, so he was all cool. Anyway, this one guy that had zero insurance (unsure whether or not he was riding out of class or not)... rear ended my friend and fucked both of their shit up.

Basically, the other guy had no money, and when my friend took him to court to sue for the damages... the other guy claimed bankrupcy. Therefore, he was left with a trashed bike and one liable party who no-longer had to pay for the damages.

Yes, its a shame that common sense has to be spelt out to people like you Madkat.
              If you can... you MUST!

i dunno about the fact that ppl riding without insurance are complete morons, i know a few ppl that simply cannot afford the $3800 premiums they were quoted on when asking for insurance, considering their bike is $12k. yet theyde be the first person to payup if worst came to worst and pranged into ur bike.. guess its all about knowing the ppl u ride with..

Sorry to say Madkat, you're on your own.

                    You against the world mate, if you dont like the rules, you wont like us. We have a certain level of mutual respect for one another and each other's "shit". If you're here to;

                    1. Disrespect others and their shit,
                    2. Maintain a narrow-mindedness towards people and their views (who've obviously been riding a lot longer than yourself),
                    3. Slander our rules and reg's,
                    4. Sponge bath CAD's momma...

... well 1 - 3 - you and the rest of us wont get along, so I suggest you stop trying.

4 - Maarken will be grateful

                        Mannnnn, grow up!
Firstly, if you went out and bought an 04 R1 for....i dunno $21k (is that how much they cost?) and some dude riding outta class took you out and didnt have insurance, what would you do?
Besides beating the idiot to a bloody pulp, as im sure all of us would do, the inocent victim gets farked on and ends up out of pocket for his/her bike.
You could them take em to court, blah, blah, blah, but this process could go on for ages, and could take years for you to get your money back.

                        Secondly, wheelies r cool!
                        Thirdly, Stoppies r cool!

If someone was popping a mono next to me and farked up, at least id know id end up with a new bike or a nice sum of cash from the accident.

There is a reason why you are restricted to a 250 for the first year, so you dont crash and die!

I hope you go out riding without insurance or out of class and take out a ferrari. Cuz you will then have a $250k debt for the rest of your life, paying off someone elses property, all because of a stoopid decision.

I agree dood, comprehensive premiums are over the top. Its a price we have to pay for riding bikes. 3rd Party Property aint that bad at all (a few hunj) and I personally think if someone is unable to afford at least 3rd party for a bike then they really should not be riding. Hell, knock a mirror off a Maserati next time you lane split and your bank balance will know alllll about it.

one of the major ideas behind this community is to unite us and try and work as a group to reduce the cost of insurance for all.
