You don't need a license to race chookie! You just need a LIFT!

Chookie, just go with a whole bunch of bikes.. what's the chance of getting done one day in three months, with a whole group of fellas? I'm sure some of us will pop some wheelies to draw the attention off you

I hear spending a day on that track chews your tyres up pretty bad, is this true? ie would you then be having to replace both tyres after the cornering and braking course?
Red meat isn't bad for you. Fuzzy green meat is bad for you.

I would imagine that depends a *lot* on your riding style, and I guess what kind of bike you ride.

If you ride an R1/Blade/Gixxer and like the rear end spinning up every time you exit a corner, then yeah; you'll chew tyres like it's going out of fashion. But if you're just fast & smooth, you should have no trouble. Obviously they will wear, but if you ride sensibly not a fantastic amount.

MJ: I think your memory deceives you..

But I did one of John's courses a while ago, and had a stupidly good time. Wonder if he's got any places left, hmm..

As for chewing up the tyres !!! yes you do tend to chew up the tyres !! but you chew up the edges not the centre !! so you'll chew up the part of the tyre that you rarely use on the street ! and it's a perfect chance to get rid of those chicken strips on the edge of your tyre !!
