  • cruiser clubs or crusier club rides?

Hey guys, I've been a long time sport bike rider and just recently have bought a cruiser and am selling my naked sportbike. Guess we all change, I started loosing interest in riding even though my sportbike was a fun machine there's just a whole different vibe going on with the cruisers and it's got me back into riding. Anyway getting a bit off topic, basically want to find out if there are any cruiser rides organized or if anyone could point me in the direction of a club that specializes in cruisers. I know sport bike and cruisers can all get a long but it's different riding and think they probably do best on separate rides , cruisers don't love the tight twisties. Also I'm not sure if anyone can clarify for me, but in my search for a club I have come across a few clubs that almost resemble 1% clubs but not really. They say they are social clubs but wear patched vests just without the 1% insignia or rockers. Does anyone know if they are affiliated to 1% clubs or are legitimately just social boys cruiser clubs and have any of you any experience with any of their members.

Cheers guys, it's been a while and it's taken a shiny chrome steed to bring me back.

Have a look at facebook group "Cruiser Riders Of Perth C.R.O.P"

Not a "club" as such - just a loose group of cruiser riders that generally has someone out on a ride every weekend.
There is no better sight than a group of cruisers riding down the highway.

If you bought a Harley, there is always HOG rides.
Indian are also organising an Indian owners group.
If you love your motorcycle, set it free. If it comes back, you probably high-sided.

I always enjoyed the Ulysses rides.
Quite relaxed and happy if you want to give it a squirt.
HOG club dobs you into the Road Captain if you deviate 300mm from your designated spot or approach the speed limit rather than sitting 10 kays under and giving other road users the $hits

Indian 111 WA 2nd annual ride is on this Sunday. Leaving from Whiteman Park 9am. Gold coin donation to go to Foodbank WA. You don't need to ride an Indian, I've been on a few rides with them on a sports tourer, just let the boys with the vintage bikes at the front.
