OK, quick picture. Have got the current model GSXR Rear Shockie in yesterday after 6 hours of nightmares and fucking around.

Need a couple of nylon washers, some more elbow grease for a clean up, and it can be locked down and stay put.

Dosent it look lovely when all the new shiny starts being put on ! I had a 86 GSXR750 loved the power but handling and general riding around was hard work .. Will be really interesting to see just how Mutch difference the upgrades really make .

Keep up the good work !!

Had the suspension knuckle filled this week. Unfortunately the guy that did the job drilled the wrong sized hole through the centre.

Will now have to take it off again, and send it to a machine shop to have a Roller Eye Needle Bearing fitted with Stainless pin. Damn

Sorry Mouche... you misread my meaning. and judged me fairly hard as well.....I'm not in the mood to GTFO.

                I will then, explain.....

I meant " 1st world issue" --is just a small problem/can be easily fixed--

You seem just a tad obsessive..Always a good thing on a build thread...

Now you must proceed with haste...(or not)

Great to watch a Suzuki Fan with intent... Go for it mate!!!

Got a start on the motor yesterday afternoon. Even with only 24k on the clock since 2004, there is a lot of clean up to get on with. Good to know we still have original DOT head with Genuine Yoshimura Cams ST1.

Block come up a treat - just needs painting now. Some before and after shots for you all.

Not so with the Cylinder head though - needs a valve job, although big discovery, already had HD springs fitted, most likley done at the 04 build period. Gonna change them out anyway, got the APE units, may as well use them eh !

Also found some unusual growth in #2 - must have a mouse hiding in there somewhere I think - pmsl Fuck it, got to be done right or not at all, going in this week for a full once over is best

Dropped off heads and pipes with a specialist today. Decided it made more sense this way than have me get pissed off and frustrated with only being able to work on it at night.

That way he can match the units together perfectly before the head work begins. Getting the works done. Looking forward to this, he came highly recommended too. When it comes back, should be gleaming like the cats ass in the moonlight I suspect
