              Nup, not me. (see above).

              I've mocked up the tail piece and gotten all the fixings. Next is some fibreglassing, prepping and sanding, then asking [MENTION=8418]potato[/MENTION] nicely to paint it for me in exchange for many pesos.

                  On the way to work this morning I clicked over 8000km, I've had the bike 9 months so am riding pretty much daily on it. Zero issues, my only complaint is the plastic of the switchgear and front brake reservoir is discolouring more quickly than I would have expected.

                  [MENTION=30080]RRossi[/MENTION] - got any suggestions for something to protect the hard plastics?

                  On the weekend I did a country run on it. It will happily sit on 130 all day, and at 180 it was still pulling but that's hard work on a naked bike. You really sit on top of it, not in it, so you need to hold on. The super narrow tank isn't great for allowing your knees to support you either.

                  A small screen would be ideal for those situations.

                  Oh, and the Bell Bullitt with a bubble visor isn't the most aerodynamic thing in the world

                    If you keep that up you won't be able to sell it with all of its original parts.

                    Changing the tyres is going to be a real hit to resale value, I'd hate to think how much you'd lose by changing a chain and sprockets or heaven forbid spark plugs or an air filter.

                        In the past 12 months I have:
                        - not done anything with the cafe racer tail piece I have sitting about
                        - hit 15,000km on the OEM tyres and replaced them with Pilot Road 3's (this is where the 18 inch front sucks, it limits tyre choices)
                        - had my first problems, an oil leak that was sorted out by Pattersons under warranty
                        - while the bike is with them I'm having their intake kit installed (Intake Express). Big bump in midrange torque without sacrificing anything at the top end. Really looking forward to seeing the difference.

                          Fitted a $25 fender eliminator to my gsxr600.
                          Performed the 18,000km service - coolant topup, oil change, general once over and torque up.
                          Also found my front fork seals are beginning to leak so need to get a rebuild, might get the spring rates changed for my weight at the same time.

                          BOOKED IN TO COLLIE TRACK DAY!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
