  • What coolant to use?

Hey guys, got a zx6r 2001. I saw that the coolant was a bit low like just below the low level, wanted to fill up or change the coolant entirely, was wondering what type coolant to use if anyone knew.

If you don't know what type of coolant is in their-just top up with some demin water. Do not mix coolants.
Otherwise any automotive coolant mixed at 50/50 ratio.
    Theirs no replacement for displacement

Tectalloy make a various range of 50/50 coolants, that's all i've ever used bike and car..

water is better for cooling than glycol and the cheap coolents have less glycol.

for that reason i prefer to use the 65g/L (or 6.5%) cheap premixed coolents rather than the 50% stuff.
