I am mucking about with an 87srx 250 and i'm doing the float level on the carb. Does anyone know the proper level? All the workshop manual displays is you hook up a tube to the overflow and put it up against the carb body and a certain amount +/-the top of the float bowl / carb seam. But it was hard enough just getting the carb off the bike in the first place, had to take almost the whole airbox and back plastics off, stuffed if I'm gonnado that several times till I get the right level. anyone can give me a float level and do it for once and all / cheat? I have the nice float level tool whichexpands to fit the float body and then has a bit that moves and down with ruler marked graduations in millimetres. Thanks for any Help!
