  • keihin seal

Hi Brains trust.... I know, its a stretch

Anyone know of a cheap supplier of the Vacuum release plate seal for the 41 Keihin FCR?
    Linky for reference
Honda don't list it separately and the guys in the US want to double the price by posting it.
Do any of the other oem's list if for a fair price?

    Cheers

Which bike is it for? Just the search I use goes by bike manufacturer, year and model.

Doing a quick google search these carbs were on the Honda CRF450,

      https://www.ronayers.com/oemparts/a/...bc7/carburetor

Looks like a part that is ordered in a kit and not separate. Part #16 for $67USD (ouch).

Using japan.webike.net OEM catalog the part number is 16037-MEB-671 from Honda for $126AUD (double ouch)

Going through japan.webike.net i've found this though... it'll still be $90 delivered on the slowboat.

        found this
but check out the shipping charge!
I was hoping that you could order the seal from the keihin distributor with a "fair" shipping for something that would go inside a Christmas card....
The old seal had grown, supposedly its common for this to occur.

Edit: Cheers Robin This will do the trick!

Already got it on the way with webike.
Jets r us would have been good as they would have quoted on actual postage. The seal is listed at $16 US
I looked at show and go before posting and their website was as useful as tits on a bull.
              Webike was 14aud inc postage.

Webike is a godsend/curse for me... the amount of money I've spent there is obscene.
