Have recentlly setup bullet camera and mic on bike, the problem is the mic is so sensitive it distorts when revved, have wrapped in electrical tape, foam and gaffer tape then in a box, yep all of the above together. not as bad when first started bike, any sort of ideas would be helpful, sound deadning foam or something along those lines?????

perhaps convert the mic to a noise cancelling mic.
I am currently playing with this for bike to bike radios...
The guy in Jaycar joondalup is pretty helpfull on these matters..
We even have 2 electronic engineers on the forum but I'll let them come forward if they like

Is mounted under pillion compartment, have just wrapped more foam and gaffer tape and been out for a ride, seems to have made a bigger improvement, I do have very loud mufflers mind you, much better than before, but still open for anything better. Thanks

Distorts acoustically (i.e. you hear a loud scratching noise, ringing noise, something audio) or distorts electronically (i.e. you can hear the engine actually revving even at idle, a precise pattern of sound)?
If it's electronically then it's electromagnetic or radiofrequency interference, you'll need a capacitor or surge supressor or resistor, depending on what's going on.
