The seppos on Kawiforums have posted about this little...thing...that eliminates the need for the exhaust servo motor. Apparently its a little electronics gadgetry thing that tricks the ECU into thinking the servo motor is still there.
Ivan's servo eliminator installed - 2003-2006 ZX-6R @ KawiForums.com
I've already fitted a full exhaust to the bike and removed the exhaust valve and put the little motor arm in place so the servo motor is pretty much useless anyway. I wouldn't even know its there apart from the fact that it chatters when I turn the key on (the motor arm banging against its stoppers).
Question is, is there any real point in removing the servo motor, apart from shedding a bit of weight?
PS its $110 US.
