  • CBR 250 plop

Being the awesome(sarcasm) biker i am, i managed to crash
    .
    .
trying to stay half positive about it (already having my fair share of internal metal souveniers), im more than happy im in one piece.
    .
Anyway the poor blade took a bit of a battering and im now going through the whole embaressing repair/replacement process.
Just wondering if anyone knew of decent places to get replacement parts and get resprays done for a 91 black cbr 250 rr.

    - Managed to snap the left (gear) footpeg.
    - Cracked front fairing near left mirror.
    - Smashed front screen.
    - Wheel arch cracked.
    - Both left indicators grated and subsequently disappeared somewhere along west coast highway.
    - Rear wheel bearing slightly loose

There is a huge market from over east. Check out http://www.cr-x.org/cbr250/forum/ for the best recommendations to pickup cbr 250 parts. You might be able to get the pegs next to nothing from someone who is really nice.....
      1, Always look good

        Cheers,

This may seem like an odd question, but will panelbeaters fix cracked fairings?
Just seems like a waste considering how minimal some of the damage is and the price of a new fairing.

bugger... More importantly, you are OK.

Usually... - You need someone who can do plastic welding.
(and if they are a bike repairer, I dont think you will find one who can't or doesnt have a contact to do it for them.)

                Cursed??

Hit some debris coming into a roundabout fairly quickly(my bad), locked the front wheel and clipped the curb.
Doesnt sound like the smartest thing to do, but was either that or would have gone into the car beside me and probably underneath the one behind me.
Bike went down on its side and scraped along the road.

Cheers to 3 cagers who saw it happen and gave me a hand getting it up off the road.
