im replacing the clutch fibres and springs on my cbr250 in the next few days- do the fibres need to bedded inor anything?

Nope, ride like normal.
Might be a bit grabby at first. -
The plates will be fine, just ride normal. I would avoid racing starts for the first day or 2.
