Well after a lot of stuffin about trying to find the rpm wire from the ECU on the 10 (apparently no one else has shared their info) and getting the wheel rotation sensor and magnets glued onto the wheel.

routed the wiring for the unit under the dampener and fuel tank mounts and beside the airbox to hard wired to the battery (for now) until i re-find my ignition *on* wire the unit is always on when plugged in, the wheel speed sensor didn't like the weakness of the magnet so it has to be positioned really close until i can find a stronger magnet.

Have not had a chance to go for a ride yet but will put the camera on for a video of it in operation .

Yeah couldn't think of any other way around it for now due to magnets low field, if you have a better way i am all ears (honestly). Rob is dropping off a higher powered one so i may be able to move the sensor back a bit, but for now i think it'll have to do.

If you have a better way to fit it please offer your expertise

Drill the rim and epoxy rare earth magnets in, then get it powdercoated/painted.
Make up a nice little ally mount for the pickup.
Use black cable ties

yes black cable ties would have been the smarter and better option but alas i did not have any......yet.

As to Drilling the rim i dunno if i really want to go that far but cheers for the option.

Maybe I'm missing somethere here, but you've already got a speedo, tacho, clock and gear indicator, so you went and got another guage cluster with gear indicator, tacho, clock and speedo?

yup... Doesn't have to display gear, tacho, clock and speedo they can all be changed to many other things, they are just the standard start up screen.
