    Hi Guys

    HELP!!!

A few weeks ago, I completed my muffler mod to the Zed (pik attached).
I replaced the existing system with a GYTR carbon stubby, which is from an R6.

Since then, Ive realised that its too LOUD, and that constant drone at normal riding speed (about 3000rpm) is driving me crazy. I absolutely love the "look", but the noise is starting to get to me.

Apart from earplugs, can anyone suggest how I can reduce the noise on this muffler?

Ive tried searching the web for an aftermarket baffle system to suit this muffler, but cant find anything.

    Cheers

    You're over 40, aren't you.
Just get a baffle made up.
    Machine shop maybe?

I think Desmo means: "If it's too loud, you're too old"

Is it possible to pull the can apart?

If so you could head to causeway kwaka (only place i've seen to sell it) and pick up a couple of packs of fibreglass packing.
I think about sex every tits seconds.

That Muffler is not really designed to be a muffler ! Its only suposed to be a stinger on the mid ship muffler on the R6. Its too short, a mechanical baffle may help but its just too bloody short. Said it would be loud Tell you what I'll buy it of ya and put it on my R6

Pull 2 of your ignition leads.

Yes it can be re-built, but I think it'll still sound the same ... might need to restrict it more by adding a baffle
