Spent a part of my New Year break giving the viffer a present.

rebuilt the rear brake - following on from recent posts about brake drag and lubrication (thanks all)

gave her a guts full of Motul 5100 10W50

a new Michie Pilot Road 2 on the front to match the rear (from Tyres for Bikes). Was a bit so so with the new tyre at first, but I found that when fitted they only put 30 psi in it. With proper pressures (36 front, 42 rear) these tyres are friggin awesome!

I found that mirror mount if you still want it too, but it's for the left side, so might look a touch odd.

Pull the old one off and sand it back, and take to it with a can of gloss black paint.

Thanks Jon. I checked to see if the mounts might be interchangeable, but no go

Looks like a reno job
