  • Yamaha riders take note!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For all u yamaha riders take note of this!!!!!!

With the bolts that screw into your swingarm to adjust the chain u should remove these bolts and lube them up with never sieze. Ive just found out the hard way if u dont and they sieze up its swing arm out and set up in a milling machine to get the bolt out.
Ive gone one step furthur with mine and replaced the adjuster bolts with marine grade stainless bolts .

I guess that's what you get when you don't ride a supersports bike

make sure you've got a good moly-based grease (or something else to prevent electrolysis) because otherwise your swingarm will corrode instead of your bolt....
No amount of genius can overcome a preoccupation to detail.

        yeah, good tip

one of mine had seized and the mecanic had to rip it out; along with the thread on my swingarm

but the nice man did put in a helicoil for no charge

If you use the loctite brand never sieze and 304 grade stainless bolts into the alloy in your swingarm electrolisis isnt a problem . Good thing with 304 grade stainless bolts they dont work harden ethier.
