  • Steering head bearing race bent!!

    Just noticed while trying to put my triple trees back togethor tonight my lower steering head bearing race is bent anyone know what my options here are ..............

      ...that's the headstock.
      A bike is written off if that's damaged. Not really the case here because you're rebuilding it, but I sure as shit wouldn't buy that bike.

            It can be fixed, take it to FME engineering in wangara, but be prepared to wait a while for it, last time i talked to him they had a 2 month wait for work to be done.

                I'd be getting the frame checked though to make sure it's true.

                    I may be wrong, but it looks out of true, see the paint peel/bubble on the inside where the tube joins the top frame tube?
                    Definitely get it checked.
