My bro in law is giving his Deadcati a birthday.

He bought it with 2,000 kms on in 1983 and it still has only 65,000 on it.

Rode it through the mountains to Phillip Island in 2011.

I'll get some more pics off him when it is all shiny and finished off.

An all time classic bike (money follows750SSs tho).

Great when they go and furiously maddening when they don't.
Me Dad had a Darmah in 82, 9 months ownership, 6 in the dealers........They bought it back.

Its done Perth to Broome and back years ago and in 2011 it did nearly 3,000 kms, fully laden, 110 kg rider, started every time and did not disgrace itself at all.

I do have footage of it through the mountains somewhere.

"I drink it when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch it," she once said, "unless I'm thirsty."
