  • Bimota's up at Auction

Not sure if anyone is interested but 6 Bimota's are going through Manheim, starting tomorrow, all look new, no idea why going through auction, guess there's a reason though.

    http://www.manheim.com.au/recreation...rerCode=BIMOTA

Might be chance for someone to get good deal?
    Now a Pom in Perth :aus-salute: with a DB7

I find the Tesi design unusually appealing! But not 35k+ appealing....

          Definitely seems the case.

That said, glad I've got some cash squirreled away, I'll be bidding on that carbon DB9 for shits and giggles

            Poor old RSV here: http://www.manheim.com.au/recreation...AuctionListing

it looks like it has simply been tipped off the back of the tow truck and left how it fell. The red bike (whatever it is) looks on forlornly, secretly relieved that it didn't succumb to the same fate....
Click here to see my Ducati 999R in the PSB garage... You'll love it!

Don't click here to see my ZX9R aka The Ginger Ninja... there's no link!

Highway Yamaha out at Midland were starting to stock some exotics like Bimota before they closed, that would be my guess. But I'm sure the ex-staff would know more.

Wouldn't they just move them to Causeway like the other bikes and sell them at a discount rather then shipping them all the way to Sydney? Perhaps the importer (Urban Moto)? are trying to clear old floor stock. Great bikes but I couldn't justify $40-$50k asking price. $25k and maybe just maybe.....

aah, my bad. I assumed it was a local auction, not over east.

jeez thats just sad to see that Aprilia just sitting on its side like that, like a dying horse ready for the headshot.

Should have called it the Bimotard.

                          Missed a trick there.

apparently it is the reminants of Motolife QLD that had closed down earlier this year which sell Ducati, BMW, Bimota and Benelli... could be a few bargains going for someone.
