  • Red stuff goes on the inside right?

So I'm sure this has been asked like 10 billion times, but my search won't work and Google hasn't yielded much luck.

I'm looking for a second hand or more reliable after market radiator for an 848.

Anybody know any Ducati wreckers or anywhere that supplies after markets?
A brand new oem part that blows out in 2 months doesn't fill me with $1200 worth of confidence
    I'll bite your face c#%@!

'14 KTM 390 Duke - Got bored, sold it.
'08 Ducati 848 - Got cut off, destroyed it.

Thankfully I didn't have to pay for that one.. but I don't fancy paying for the next.
I have only found place in US on eBay, but haven't had a reply from them. Where'd you get yours?

shit like radiators, it's often cheaper to buy aftermarket and get something that's actually an upgrade to boot.
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa

Don't expect much change out of $2000, especially with the current exchange rate.

Send them an email though and they normally are quite good to deal with.

                  lol...

Go and price up quality aftermarket radiators...

I got quoted a bit over $800au from PWR for a pair of radiators for the SXV...

Genuine Aprilia ones are just around $150us for the pair...

                    Have you tried Pandora's?

They might be expensive, but worth a look, they are pretty good with their service, have used them a fair bit

Can the old one be fixed/welded? These guys welded in a temp sender bung for me a while back, great job!

If it's less expensive to get OEM, go nuts.

Unless you are racing and the GCR's say no

It's only against the rules if you get caught.

I'm going to get the rad pressure tested to see exactly where the leak is. But the only damage I can see is to the core. Not repairable if that's the case.
