  • 998 Freshen up

Ah, finally removed the forks this morning, time for re-real and install the Racetech Gold Rebound and Compression valving.
Also changing out the standard springs to Racetech 1.000 kg/mm.

You can just make out another addition, a Carbon Airbox, love Ebay!!!!
50mm pipes are out being ceramic coated by CIC, should be back this week.
Will post some more pics later.

2500 more km and the R inlet cams will also be goin in.

.. anyone notice something funny about these pics ... yep, thats it, the bike doesn't have a spec of grime on it anywhere!

It must spend most of its life waiting for the next part to come in from eBay & never actually get used; a Duke for show & a gixxer for go, now that can't be right .

Oh, that tyre only looks worn, pics can be deceiving
.. and thats Racer # 193 to y'all; my fabulous sponsors (who all do good shit) are: Graeme Fleming IT Consultants, Vision Image, Pacific Safety Wear, Excess Power Equipment, Pro Photo Booth

.. and according to Sean'o: 'get the Kwaka (never thought i would say that!)'

Pipes back, now waiting on some spacers from Action Laser Cutting.

Thanks to Alan and Paul (CiC) for an awesome job, if your into modding your bike from exhausts, engine components etc etc..
Go talk to these guys it makes a difference.

996R ECU needs a bit of panel beating, might just stick with 45/50mm ECU with PCIII.
