  • Desmosedici

I heard a bit of gossip today that a PSB member had put up their hand (and in their pocket) for a Desmosedici. Six are supposed to land in Australia.
For those who came in late this is a sixteen(sedici) valve four cylinder V Ducati pumping out a basic 200 HP. We all may be able to get a look at one soon (as it goes past)

He needed a bike with lots of carbon fibre, to match his car with lots of carbon fibre.

Good lukc to him, he's a champ who has worked bloody hard, and should be able to enjoy his toys.

or just put a sticker on it and accept that it doesn't need anything else (apart from fitting of the race exhaust).

other option is to get a spare set of fairings and paint em up motogp style. i'd keep the originals for collector value.

i'd buy one in a flash if i had paid off my house, but i haven't. given the impending softness of society in general, i can't see how something like this will ever be built again.

What would the servicing costs be like on a DesmoRR ?

...or is it a case of..'if I need to ask then clearly I can't afford it'

Would'nt be cheap i'd reckon! Pretty sure the services are covered for the first 2 years in the purchace price.
Could always ride it for 2 years and then flog it :o
