    Cheap, Cheap and Cheap...

    I like the 851!!

New Year Resolution might have to involve a New Garage
with room for a couple more Ducati's!!!

851 is nice but it's a bit unoriginal with those stickers. At least they can be removed. And that there's no such thing as a 851S is there? Strada maybe? And are they Marzocchi forks on it? Were they replaced in 1990 with Showa?

Yeah, they're all Strada but they're not referred to as "851S". They're either 851 or 851SP I think.

I reckon the 999 would be a better buy for the price though. I gotta admit to being biased (having owned one), but i still prefer the look of the '89 or even the '88 tricolore - there was a nice '89 on bikepoint the other day that could have been picked up for $10k I reckon.

Check out my 1198s Corse SE in the garage: Desmosedici Ohlins forks, magnesium wheels, Ohlins TTX rear shock, Kyle racing link, alloy subframe, carbon fairing stay, ceramic coated Termi full systen, PCV, lots of carbon & titanium.
