  • RM 125 pipes

    Question Please.

Junior has burned the bum out of his RM 125 exhaust over the Numduc weekend. It was paper thin to start with, and the marathon runs he put in out there have finally killed it. I am looking at a unit form the states on eBay.
Can anyone tell me if it is the right one for his 82 RM 125? I believe his is a D model.

I am waiting to hear from the seller on the shipping cost.

    Cheers

Many, Many, many years ago, I owned one of these but I think it was an 84 model. I would get the seller to confirm the spigot size where it goes into the cylinder and the pipe size where the silencer slips on. If these are the same as your current pipe and bike, then it should go on with maybe a bit of minor bending or mods to mounting points if they don't line up. DG pipes were the in thing back then - it should perk it up a bit.

An 82 model is a Z model the 83 was the D. I'm pretty sure they fit all the way to 85 there was a major update in 86. Get a muffer while you are there your will be cactus and non rebuilt job unless you cut it.

Took the plunge last night and ordered the pipes from the US last night.....$400 landed. Now Junior has to wash my bike for the next 6 months.
