That happened to me on the Little Caesars ride on Sunday. Incline into a left hander. It didn't die completely but I had no drive. Knocked it back down into first and took off again. I'm riding a VTR250. First time it ever happened. Will have to check it out

How would i go about checking this?
The revs might be an issue i guess i heard you have to keep revs high with the across.
When normal riding, she'd rev around 6000-7500. the across doesnt redline till 13000 (from memory)

I have had small problems with stalling like this, increasing the idle revs has helped somewhat.. Might look at the above solutions too some time.
There's no power below about 6500-7000 rpm, and then a bit more kicks in at 13000.
Highway revs are about 9000-11000rpm.
