I'll swap it for a pack of dilmah tea and a pack of Arnott's mixed creams.

ok, so test went well till the 'o' turns, at which point the only way I could get it round was to 'borrow' a tiny but of driveway.

what do you mob think? use a riding school bike on next test?

                  Oh Ashley

Pity you're away so much, time on your bike would certainly help though, maybe one of the shadows that's FIFO can take you out a couple of times when you're back next??

But maybe yes to an Instructors bike, but you'd need to spend a couple of lessons on that as well before you test again.

I would still be using my own bike regardless.

Something you are allowed to do, specially with a bike like the R1 is tell the instructor you want to check if U turns are even posible in that street with your bike. Get off the bike and do a U turn by walking the bike.

A lot off suburbian roads are too small as I have come to see.

Fuck that noise. Use an instructor's bike, who cares if you can't do an O turn on an R1 yet. If that's all that's letting you down then you can obviously ride so who cares if you take the easy way out?

Whatever, I guess I just don't like taking the easy way out.

I can really see her trying to learn after she has passed her test... and has no need to learn.
