    ok want to decoke the pvs from the vj22

    anyone got any suggestions

    i dont think its recommended to wire buff them as i think they might have a special coating on them like pistons

    thinking of putting them in the dishwasher tonight though

    also anyone have a spare 22 cylinder not in use

    I just washed p/v's in a tin of diesel and some steel wool by hand to clean them up..

      I've got a spare barrel at my place Mick. Only issue is that it says "Aprilia" on the side - that makes it faster, right? The coating is pretty much immaculate.

      I reckon any petroleum-based product, followed by one of those green sponges for cleaning pots and pans (anything that's not too abrasive).

      I don't think they're coated though.

        I use scotchbrite pads and degreaser or kero.

        They do have a coating.

              Did one yesterday, Petrol Soak Scrub kero soak, scrub lube and put it back in
