  • Need help with a yamaha rz500 part

My restored yamaha RZ500 is nearing completion but I am struggling to find a part.It is the bracket that holds the stone guard in the belly pan. They are not available new and I can't find any on ebay.I was hoping someone on the forum who has one of these bikes could lend me theirs,to use as a template, so I can have something similar made at a metal fabricators, until I find one.I know it is a big ask,but if you don't ask you never know https://www.dropbox.com/s/fq36djhf37...nload.jpg?dl=0

Got mine here looking at it for you.

Im a fitter and could make it to look and work perfectly
if its a concourse resto the two square nuts could be brazed on.
but atmo I cant get my head around how to do the bottom 6mm of the lower tabs each side where is does an extra bend without taking ages.
Anything is possible, I'm fkn good little bit of heat and could form them.

If you have an unmolestered set of lower mufflers that even have the paint on the front end then the world is your oyster.
stupidly I polished mine when I was a kid.

              Wow, stroke of luck!
Needs better design, Ive always put some cut clear tube, and helicopter tale there to save scratches.

              Im chasing
=An old frame to hang my orig bits on as an ornament so they stay safe,
=The footpeg/exhaust plates, as would like to chop the passenger pegs off, and move the rider pegs rear/up to the blank hole.
=The Soft pad on the seat cowl has a wear mark bit perished and a dent.
              =Some lower mufflers unmunted.

Trying to restore the fuel cap top, think it will be ok.

Join the FB RZ/RD500 owners group if not already.

Also chasing the gold colour paint ID.
