Sat in the passengers seat when a blind drunk mate got waved through.
Thought i have been gone a couple times (but blown under).

But when i went through the booze bus yesterday they had a camera set up at the entrance checking licence plates.
I was driving mums car and for the first time in a long time he asked for my licence.

Yes, while my licence was suspended, BUUUTTTT, I didn't actually know it was suspended at the time (it was suspended for about 3 years without me knowing).
I also got speeding fines during that period, but nobody worked out that I shouldn't be getting speeding fines if I wasn't supposed to drive.

Yeah, I know, it doesn't make sense. Long story, but I got an apology when it all got fixed up (I didn't actually do anything wrong).

So how did your licence get suspended in the first place?

                Well sort of.
I was on the bike, I'd had a couple of beers or three.
I was fairly sure I wasn't over though.
Anyway, got stopped, asked to blow.
While I'm getting ready the young officer of our finest started walking around my bike.
I started thinking , yellow sticker time.
Then he hands me the puffer and says "you don't recognize me do you?"
He new my bike, it was the son of one of the printers I used to do alot of work for.
I blew in the machine, he didn't even look at the reading and said see you later.

I sold a car and moved house at the same time. One govt dept said they didn't get some paperwork about the car, sent some notices to my old place, when I didn't reply, my licence was suspended. Meantime, I carried on as usual, changed address on my licence, got 2 speeding fines etc. Several years later I had to update the licence, and then found out it was suspended. Went absolutely nutz when I found out, and dept transport admitted it was their fault, fixed it all up.

Got pulled by one the other night, hadn't been drinking. Told me to pull the bike over to the curb as opposed to just the side of the road, this was so they could examine my bike, check my license and breath test me whilst the cars just got tested and waved thru. Us bikers are special u see.

I'm on the bike 99% of the time and never been waived through a booze bus at all. Funny how that works.
