In what way is that Retro, other than use of the name.
Bloody insult to the original RD350 if you ask me

So its a yamaha Duke 390, with less power, higher price (most likely), and the people who know of the original RDs will look at you with the shame of it being a 4 stroke.....

Doesn't look that bad. And just imagine switching in an rz motor with a cheetah kit

Here we are with the crossplane again FFS

The specualtion of the engine are as follows:It would be a four stroke single cylinder liquid cooled engine with a displacement of 350 cc and the engine has four valves with DOHC configuration. The crossplane crankshaft seen in Yamaha YZF R1 will make its way into the bike. The bike will be targeted at Learners class in Europe so it will have a maximum of 32 bhp and the torque figures are not known. The silencer will be free flowing to improve the performance of the bike.the final Drive is chain.

Who writes such shit I ask ,

Cross plane single cylinder - I want that persons drugs...

Edit: just read the specs- they want it to be heavier and less powerful, but still 'feel' the same as the old one? Meh...

What they should do is get the YZ 450 with the road racebike kit (FX450 class) and make that street legal. more power, lower weight.

Disappointing. Must at least have 63 hp (180 hp/l like the R1) otherwise not interested.
