Do any peeps on here like/dislike this guy?

I think he is an intelligent, articulate deep thinker who structures his debates well...but apparently some peeps on the net disagree?

I think Jordan Peterson would be disappointed if some people didn't disagree with him.

He's become famous and well known for making convincing arguments. If there's no one to convince there's no point in his work.

“Deep thinker”? He is a dangerous evangelist. He uses common sense self-help advice (that everyone should already know) and tales of ancient wisdom to subjugate crowds of insecure people. When they are suitably hypnotised, he slowly infuses his Handmaid's Tale-style vision for the future. Fuck that.

Common sense is not very common.

          He is a master debater.

I think he picks his fights though and if he went up against anyone with half a brain he would be in trouble.

he and Cathrine were the only panelists on qanda the other night who left with any dignity. the razorback on the right just showed how feminists these days are and why they are so despised.

Cathrine started of okay but seemed to loose the plot and like the other panelists, stopped answering the questions asked and just rambled.

The Labor politician...the least said about her the better. And to think [pardon the pun] she may be a minister in a few months time!

As for Jordan, the show was a wasted on him as he is in his element when given time to explore an idea not give a one minute sound byte.

He is pretty humble...on one talk show he was asked a question...his reply was he hadn't done any significant reading on the topic and so couldn't give an

answer. That's a long way away from the things that you generally see talking on TV/radio.

He has fans because he is an articulate speaker who is against the PC brigade..not the other way around..ie a politician.

What I found weird, is I discovered a lot of anti Jordan sentiment on the web (hence I ask what psb peeps think)...I don't get people who need to name call

              people with differing views.

I think he's alright. Goes off on fucking loopy shit sometimes (re: Religion).

Earns about $200k per month on Patreon as per his self-disclosure when asked.

Speaks many truths, doesn't afraid of debate.

His entire point (and claim to fame) was it shouldn't be a LAW to call someone a certain term. Backstory for the less informed, Canada made it a LAW, and thus an OFFENSE to not comply, if you didn't call someone by their correct pro-noun (half-elven, shemale, cis-fem-penis etc.). He spoke against that, not because he hates faggots and trannies, but because it goes against the premise of free speech and sets a dangerous precedent whereby Government can begin to tell the people what they can and can not say. Faggots and trannies took offence - or rather, university students too offence - and everyone else seemed to jump on the bandwagon and hate on him for standing up for THEIR right to free speech.

I absolutely support the notion that some things, while uncomfortable or immoral, should not be 'controlled' by Government and law.

He does pieces for Prager U.

                    Enuff said.

Just the same, I believe in his right to speak about whatever and for those to listen if they choose.

edit: His performance on Q&A was extraordinary, he was always sooo quick to take offence and play victim and at the same time aggressively attacking anyone who challenged him - usually with a practiced "trap" question designed to make his opponent look foolish while actually having little substance behind it at all. Parlour tricks to make himself look clever (hence the plethora of "Peterson DESTROYS... (insert whatever) vids on the Toobs posted by his adoring fans. I would feel sorry for him for seeming to be so incredibly angry all the time were it not for the likelihood that it's an act earning him plenty of money and fame.

I have only seen him on the you tube "destroy" videos, which come across as populist garbage with little substance. Based on that I probably should not comment.

Anyone who is that concerned about the dangers of "feminism", "new socialism", "PC brigade" et al needs to get a life or a job or both and get on with it.

Spoken like a true passive-aggressive, SJW, leftist, feminist.

I'm sure you can establish intent with every person you encounter.

In order to be able to think you have to risk being offensive.

No, he's absolutely right. I'm actually a rabid separatist feminist and I shot Andy Warhol before I transitioned to go underground as a beta cuck emasculating the REAL men and spreading Marxist propaganda and dismantling the corrupt capitalist patriarchy from their own ranks.

That damn meddling kid saw right through me...
