  • 11WTK- what alternative bike would u have

ok, so ive got a run of the mill cbr600 for track duties.

BUT, when the monies flow in some day id like a bike that, well, sticks out a bit.

i like the idea of big ridonculous amounts of cc/power/torque

    vmax would be sweet.
or even a beefed up gsx1400.

    wat tickles ur fancy?
The greatest excitement comes from besting who you were yesterday.

I firmly believe you can't get by with 1 bike only - one bike simply will not do everything well. So only one alternative bike isn't enough...

          I want

          - 250 stroker dirt bike (grew up on 2 strokes, but i'd kill myself on a CR500 or similar) - eg RM250
          - v-twin 1000cc+ sports bike - eg: RC8
          - 600cc screamer (the rr - maybe replace with a gsx-r750)
          - lightweight sports bike (currently RGV, but RS250, TSS500, etc)
          - a busa
          - a motard
“Crashing is shit for you, shit for the bike, shit for the mechanics and shit for the set-up,” Checa told me a while back. “It’s a signal that you are heading in the wrong direction. You want to win but crashing is the opposite. It’s like being in France when you want to go to England and when you crash you go to Spain. That way you’ll never get to England!” -- Carlos Checa

I guess you are asking for ONE alternative bike?
            hmmmm.
Can I keep my current one but stick a zx-14 motor in it?
            No?
            B-King then.

I'd happily take a number of his bikes as alternatives.

                  ^_^

I started with my Hornet - which I love; but I needed a distance bike/tourer and the Great Architect had smiled and so did the War Office so i was able to get my Guzzi...

I wish others the good fortune to be able to do this sort of thing.

Of course now I have them in the stable, my dark-bastard inner-self thinks that I shall not ever sell them and hey we could park the other car outside and how about those Buells, and shouldn't there be a cruiser in there, and why don't I have a Trumpy -and Norton Commando850 mmmmmmmNortonnnnnnnn.....
