  • I text my Mate Happy B'day today...

I text my Mate in Japan Happy Birthday today.
He must've been having a really good time cause it was really noisy and he kept yelling "Big Rave" "Big Rave".

Appoligies if it's in too bad taste.
    But, He He.

Haven't we just been through that with Christchurch, and Yasi, and floods and bushfires and and and....

The situation is totally fucked, there's nothing we can do from here, so a little black humour helps stop people from getting too despondent about it all.

If it's not your cup of tea, stop causing waves, and go shake somebody else's tree.

My first thought as well. But still, it got a chuckle.

yeah but if you have broken ribs and then you laugh you are in immense pain and then you cry, and then everyone else in the ward laughs at you and so its good for them, so its a greater good kind of medicine.

I thought there was no 'v' sound in Japanese?
                          I tried being reasonable.
                          I didn't like it.
