While I don't personally like them, custom plates are, by their very nature, custom. If you think of something you deem worthwhile, do it, we're not here to stop you, or endorse your choice of plate. If someone else comes up with something, it's not really customised for you is it?
PS: the custom plate on my R1 came with the bike... I have to change it over to a commoner plate (I like being common - easier to get away with shit)

We don't have to understand why you have chosen custom plates, or what the significance of the custom plate is, that is entirely up to you. Society (and PSwill try and interpret why you've done it, but if you feel that potential interpretation, or judgement associated with any custom plate or what is on it will affect your life negatively, don't do it.....
Stop bowing to peer pressure and be yourself in everyway possible. If that means you get a custom plate, good for you. Personally I don't want to try and tell you how to run your life, what is acceptable or what isn't as I've got enough problems in my own.

I inherited my distinctive and far too easily recognisable wanker plate with one of my bikes. I'm not 100% happy having it there, but changing it is far too much effort. For LAMS information and resources - http://www.perthstreetbikes.com/foru...thread-156358/
