Custom plates

Hey guys and gals im seriously considering getting custom plates for my bike... but i wanna hv a kool name o sayin...
Any suggestions or should i just put my name?

While I don't personally like them, custom plates are, by their very nature, custom. If you think of something you deem worthwhile, do it, we're not here to stop you, or endorse your choice of plate. If someone else comes up with something, it's not really customised for you is it?
PS: the custom plate on my R1 came with the bike... I have to change it over to a commoner plate (I like being common - easier to get away with shit )

Its the same as your bike choice.... everyone has idea's, but they aren't yours. Motorcycling is about freedom, individualism and a bit of rebellion from others, and from society. Hence why if you yield to peer pressure to get a certain bike, how is it any different to not having a bike at all? Asking us what we think is the ultimate greymans choice, if you want to be the greyman and blend in with what everyone thinks, why not just keep the standard plates?

We don't have to understand why you have chosen custom plates, or what the significance of the custom plate is, that is entirely up to you. Society (and PS will try and interpret why you've done it, but if you feel that potential interpretation, or judgement associated with any custom plate or what is on it will affect your life negatively, don't do it.....

Stop bowing to peer pressure and be yourself in everyway possible. If that means you get a custom plate, good for you. Personally I don't want to try and tell you how to run your life, what is acceptable or what isn't as I've got enough problems in my own.

Yeah, had that idea once, after I saw how expensive they are for 'name' plates decided not to bother, then realised I probably don't want an easily remembered plate in case there are witnesses.

I inherited my distinctive and far too easily recognisable wanker plate with one of my bikes. I'm not 100% happy having it there, but changing it is far too much effort.
