    Hey guys,
When I installed my ADSL modem I had to unplug camera usb port and use this port for the modem, as I only have 2 usb ports I need to know if I can get some kind of adaptor
to add more usb ports or should I just buy a new computer with extra usb ports.
Your knowlege will be much appreciated and I promise not to give you any more shit
if you dont ride a R1.

    Get a USB PCI card.

If you go into any computer shop they'll be about to help you out.

go to ple.com.au (that's where i get most of my comp parts) and look for usb hubs. there shouldn't be expensive

call them or go to the store and ask for the pricing on either usb pci cards or usb hubs.

i was in Harvey Norman a couple of months ago.

They had external adapters which turned 1 usb port into 4.

They were clearing them out in snap lock bags (no packaging) for $13.

It worked a treat on my laptop!!

go to any computer store and grab a USB hub. They are cheap as chips and will allow you to connect a bunch of different USB devices to the one port.

Don't expect any blazing speeds though.

I just need to hook my camera up again so I can download more pics,
of the R1 of course, just kidding.
I wish bike parts were as cheap.

get a new usb card, an adapter will slow your pic downloading time. USB cards arent expensive and are easy to install.

                      What motherboard do you have?

BEFORE you go and get a new PC or a USB hub, make sure you don't have extra ports you don't know about. Most of the newer motherboards have a header plug onboard and all you need is the backplate to make it work. This would give you an extra two ports for pretty much nothing.

Or, if you don't mind spending money when you don't need to.. Be my guest.

                          Hey Devil...

Trust me... go with a USB hub. Its pretty much just plug it in and away you go... its the easiest solution for what you want.
                          If you can... you MUST!

You should consider whether you need Powered USB ports or not for USB bus powered devices if you purchase an external plug'n'play USB hub
I can't think what more you could possibly need to know... except maybe this:
