• Looking for a finance specialist

Any finance specialists out their?
I have a friend with bad credit history due to an ex-boyfriend and she needs a car loan of around $6k to get something half descent. Keeps getting nocked back from everyone because she's on some black list. She has a stable job and can afford to pay the loan.
Any help is appreciated.

If she's on a blacklist then 18% is the best she's going to get.

Had a similar problem, goggled fix my credit. Rang Credit Fix Australia - Leaders in Credit Repair they look into the history and see if it can be fixed, turned out my problem wasn't as bad as I thought.

And something I should have probably done years before. Might be worth a look for her

Credit Card purchase it, balance transfer to 0% from a new provider, pay it off before interest kicks in after 6 or 9 months.

Or from memory when I was seeking a mortgage broker, Lady Jonas works in the field?

High interest because she's high risk due to poor credit rating.

18% isn't all that high.

Six grand? Save, or buy a cheaper car.

A six grand car is *still* going to be something not-very-flash, and won't be something a lender would secure against, so she'll probably be looking at high interest unsecured finance no matter which route she tries to go.

could prob go higher depending on loan. was just going of repayment calculators online as to how much she could afford to pay of on her wage, depending on interest and fees could go up to $10k. I friend had a descent car for sale for $6k but its a manual and she only has an auto liscence. Thats why i stuck with the $6k mark.

For $6,000 pay the 18%... but pay the entire thing off within 12 months.

She'll pay around $600 in interest, with payments of around $130 per week.

Do that and she'll be in a much better position the next time she goes for finance.
