  • pooter help needed

    got me a message coming up says "microsoft visual c++ runtime library buffer overrun detected", comes up on both my desktop with XP, and my laptop with vista. can someone recommend me something to fix this problem that isnt going to cost me an arm and a leg?

        and to peter, i tried that, donoaded one app which was going to cost $40 to do anything, and couldnt be bothered downloading any more (cos i'm shaped at the mo)

          Is there a program that you have installed on both that might cause it? eg does it happen when you open an application?

            wiggum - it should tell you what program is causing the overrun

            most common cause is a poor written virus/malware. run you scanners
