          Rest in Peace, Lou.

'Music Legend' gets bandied about but this you truly were. The Velvet Underground were one of the greatest, most influential bands ever and were absolutely fundamental to my life long love of music.

First thing I thought of when I heard. Who else can get David Bowie on backing vocals?

            R.I.P. Lou Reed.

A great contributor to the music and culture of a few generations. Off to the dirty boulevard for Lou!

                  RIP Mr. Reed

Your presence and persona were a gift to us all.

Among his more little-known efforts, Lou did the middle-8 vocals in this song and it shines....

Romeo & Juliet: Still one of my all time favourite songs. I remember the days when I used to dress like the cover of New York.
"I drink it when I'm happy and when I'm sad. Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone. When I have company I consider it obligatory. I trifle with it if I'm not hungry and drink it when I am. Otherwise, I never touch it," she once said, "unless I'm thirsty."
