Lost my Dad on the 26 Th of March, he was my war horse and sparing partner.
Merv an his brother Colin rode their B.S.A. Bikes up the black spur from box hill in Melbourne an threw countryside of Victoria in their youth. A brotherhood that was never broken for 87years..
He’s mates.Colin,Doug,an Graeme, always said,if there’s a way to get things done Merv would find a way!
We where different ,Dad an I , in just about every thing but we found a way to make a difference, going to wood shows together an bike shows an spending time talking about he’s experiences with his three mate’s.
Sadly Graeme is the only one left who lives in Queensland,Graeme always goes to the tip to find crap that can use an turn into something useful, an called it ( mitre11)lol.
I know he’s not part of p.s.b’s Community, but a big part of those riders that we all have shared the same freedom an enjoyment of riding.
To he’s mates always referred to him just, good old Merv.
Thanks Dad, for difference you’ve made for my family an I. R.I.P.
