        50/50 IPA and distilled water.

If they are etched in you will need to polish them out.

If they're bore water stains, you might be shit outa luck. I had some on my car windows a few years back and they wouldn't budge. I tried all manor of car polishes, glass cleaners, metho, terps, kero even brasso and they wouldn't piss off, although they did get a little better with the brasso. I wound up speaking to a fellow who's a detailer & he advised at the time, the only way was to buff the shit off with some particular compound or speccy doover lacky (can't quite recall). In the end I left it and sold the car as it was water marks and all.

Never tried it on windows but citric acid works, start low dilution then move up. It just dissolves it.

Newspaper soaked in vinegar with a bit of dish liquid. Leave it on in the shade for an hours or so. This works a treat on the shower screens with the calcium build up.
