I bought something on ebay, the chunt said he'd accept paypal, but once the auction was over he tells me he cant get paypal working. Send money order. Fuck that, I wanna cancel out of it but don't want a bad mark on my name - what do i do?

And I mean more than "Contact the admin/support" ... if that's the answer, how do I do that

most of the sellers on ebay are reasonable si if you say that you can only pay with paypal, and ask him to re-list he probably will.

to contact ebay- go "my ebay" then "dispute console" inthe menu on the side "my ebay views"

He has changed the terms of the auction after it closed, tell him to re list it with the revised terms, Ebay admin will stop any negative feedback if you tell them the problem

does his auction state he can accept paypal, or do you have communication from him saying so?
if so he is contractually bound to accept it.
how can he "not get paypal working"
how do you collect money using paypal?
if you do get a negative feedback then ebay may remove it for you.

I covered this in my post. Tell me how to explain it to "admin," because I've been trying to all morning.

Of course it says accept paypal, I hinted that in my post when I said "said he'd accept paypal,"

When you use that method you reach a screen, during the process, where you tell it how you paid for the item. I havent paid for it, thats the problem - I cant

why not just pay via money order and then report him to ebay?

I was gonna say ask him to pay the cost of the money order (I had to do one a while ago and it cost about $35). I reckon he'd be happy to cancel the deal if he thought he had to pay you anything, specially considering his pathetic excuse for not accepting paypal.
