Just got a call from a mine site dads at, there flying me to site to do the interview Friday. Applied in April

Not sure if this is a good thing or not….. 40k extra PA work half the year but give up a easy job at the hospital that’s permanent but pays shit.

Did you get the job? If so, hows FIFO turning out?

Ended up canceling the interview, when they said the interview will be with the electrical superintendent not just the supervisor I chickened out.

Dad works for the same site didn’t offer much advise other then you sound stressed out if you don’t think you can do it then cancel.

He didn't tell me till after that they were willing to start me in a basic electrical role and teach me instrumentation.

So still at a major hospital for now….regret not giving it ago.

well, look on the bright side.. aircon, nurses, you know
