  • Drill me a bigger hole.

I've got a tow hitch but the hole for the tow ball shank is 19mm.

I need it drilled out to 22mm.

Can someone recommend me an engineering shop able to do this? before christmas....

If you get desperate you can buy new tongues from most car shops for not to much money.

Prolly be able to find one with the right size hole.. I assume its for something other than a towball to go in.

my receiver is some stupid size....1 1/4" or something....so its really hard to find a tongue to even fit that.

the tongue i have atm is imperial to fit the 1 1/4 but it also has the imperial hole size (19mm)...

why do they insist on using such a fucked up system!

Technically yes, reality if its engineered that close to failure and I'm pretty sure tow bars would be close to lifting gear (ie double the number thats stamped on it and that what it is engineered to) I seriously doubt anyone would ever know or care.

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.
